DURHAM, N.C. – Coastal Carolina track & field finished the third and final day of the Duke Invitational on Saturday from Durham, N.C. Five more personal bests were set by the Chants throughout the meet, and Omari Taylor posted a time of 51.98 in the 400 meter hurdles, the eighth-best time in school history. 

PERSONAL BESTS

Latiana Acker- 200m: 24.40

Latiana Acker- 400m: 55.16

Jordan Reece- 400m: 47.38

Omari Taylor- 400m hurdles: 51.98 (8th in school history)

Joe Rome- javelin: 53.71m

NOTABLE FINISHES

2nd in women's 4x100m relay (Latiana Acker, Jamie Adams, Zionna Perez-Tucker, Camryn Lorick)

Amanda Kinloch: 4th in 100m hurdles (13.49)

Omari Taylor- 5th in 400m hurdles (51.98)

Zionna Perez-Tucker: 10th in 200m (24.15)

The Chanticleers will participate in two meets next weekend, the Tom Jones Invitational in Gainesville, F.L. on April 18 and 19, and the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C. on April 18.
