POINT CLEAR, A.L. – The Chanticleer women's golf team finished the stroke play portion of the Sun Belt Conference Women's Golf Championship in second place on Wednesday at The Lakewood Club in Point Clear, A.L. Coastal finished with a score of +15 behind Georgia Southern at +6. Southern Mississippi placed third at +16 and ULM took the final spot at +21.
The Chants will match up with No. 3 Southern Mississippi in the semifinals in a match play format. The winner will face either No. 1 Georgia Southern or No. 4 ULM for the championship on Thursday.
Coastal's highest finisher was Varatkarn Kunkaew (+3), who finished the third day with a 73 to tie for 10th place overall. Aoife Devaney (+6) finished in a tie for 18th after also posting a 73 in round three.

Ella Murray (+7, 72+72+79=223): T-21st
