
Men's Golf Set For Sun Belt Championship

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's golf team travels to Madison, Miss., for the 2025 Sun Belt Conference Men's Golf Championships starting Monday, April 21, at the Annadale Golf Club.
The Chanticleers are seeking their first Sun Belt title since 2018 and second overall. Coastal finished fifth at the conference championship tournament last season.
The tournament will be the third-straight held on the par-72, 7,157-yard course. The teams will tee off from split tees, beginning at 8 a.m. CT, with six teams teeing off on No. 1 and eight teams starting on No. 10. All four rounds of the championship will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with live results on Scoreboard.
The top four teams from the 54-hole stroke play portion of the event will advance to match play on Thursday, April 24. The semifinal matches will tee off beginning at 7:30 a.m. CT— with the No. 4 seed and the No. 1 seed on No. 1 and the No. 3 seed and the No. 2 seed on No. 10. The championship match will tee off from No. 1 following the conclusion of the semifinal matches.
The Chanticleer lineup includes junior Max Bengtsson (71.8 scoring average), freshman Drew Sykes (71.7 scoring avg.), sophomore Jack Lee (73.0 scoring avg.), along with seniors Trey Crenshaw (73.4 scoring avg.) and Trace McDonald (73.1 scoring avg.). Junior Owen Kim (72.7 scoring avg.) will travel as an alternate.
Lee finished sixth at the 2024 Sun Belt Championships with a 54-hole score of par-216. Crenshaw tied for 27th at 6-over 222 and McDonald placed 29th at 12-over 228.
