Foley, Ala. – The Coastal Carolina beach volleyball team fell 4-1 to the Georgia State Panthers in the semifinals of the Sun Belt tournament on Friday in Foley, Ala. With the loss, the Chants dropped to the loser's bracket and will face the winner of No. 3 UNCW and No. 6 Southern Miss on Saturday at 11 a.m. ET.
A victory would put the Chants in the Sun Belt tournament championship for the third year in a row. Georgia State advanced to the championship with the win.
