Boone, N.C. - Coastal Carolina track and field made a final push for regionals at the Sunday Night Qualifier in Boone, N.C. The one-day event saw the Chants participate in a multitude of events looking to improve their marks to meet regional standards.
Zayna Fray-Samuel set a new personal-best in the women's hammer throw at 60.13 meters, the second-best mark in school history.
Coastal's lineup of Latiana Acker, Amanda Kinloch, Camryn Lorick, and Zionna Perez-Tucker won the women's 4x100 meter relay with a time of 44.94, the eighth fastest time in school history.

As of Sunday night, the Chants will send six athletes to the NCAA East Regional in Jacksonville, Fla. on May 28-31.
