Harrisonburg, Va. - Coastal Carolina track & field kicked off the Sun Belt Championship with the first events of the weekend at Sentara Park on Thursday.
The highest result of the day was Molly Jones' second-place finish in the women's 10,000 meter race with a time of 35:12.06. Addison Laughlin improved on her personal-best in the event with a time of 35:48.41 for a sixth-place finish. The time ranked eighth-best in school history.
Zayna Fray-Samuel picked up a fourth-place finish in the women's hammer with a distance of 57.20 meters.
After five events in the men's decathlon, Josh Roberts holds the fourth-place spot, 65 points behind the leader.
