OMAHA — Coastal Carolina Baseball spent Thursday at the Men's College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska, going through a final practice at Charles Schwab Field Omaha, participating in fun social media activities and handling media responsibilities.
The Chanticleers (53-11) face Arizona on Friday, June 13 at 2 p.m. ET in the opening game of the 2024 MCWS. The game will be televised by ESPN, air on the Chanticleer Sports Network and will be available on the Chanticleer Mobile App. The Wildcats (44-19) are familiar Omaha foe for the Chants, after the two teams faced off in the 2016 MCWS Championship Series. Coastal won two games out of three to claim the 2016 National Championship. Friday's second game features No. 8 national seed Oregon State (47-14-1) against Louisville (40-22) and is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
