CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina will face five teams that participated in postseason play last season as part of its 31-game regular season schedule, announced University athletic officials on Thursday.
The Chanticleers' non-conference schedule includes road games against 2025 WAC champion Grand Canyon (Dec. 13), NIT participants Arkansas State (Feb. 4), Jacksonville State (Nov. 14), and Saint Joseph's (Dec. 22), and CBI selection Illinois State (Nov. 23).
CCU will host 13 games at the HTC Center, including nine Sun Belt contests, and play eight non-conference road games and one neutral site game.
"We are excited about our non-conference schedule and think it will prepare us for the grueling schedule of the SBC," Gray said. "I can't wait to see all of Teal Nation inside the HTC Center for every home game. Get your tickets now!"
Coastal Carolina opens the season at Western Michigan (Nov. 3) as part of the two-game MAC-SBC Challenge. The Chants defeated the Broncos at the HTC Center to start the 2024-25 season.
The Chanticleers will host Virginia-Lynchburg (Nov. 7) to open their home schedule before welcoming Winthrop (Nov. 11) to the HTC Center for their first of two games against the Eagles. CCU will make the return trip to Rock Hill to face Winthrop (Dec. 6) less than a month later.
Additional road games include trips to Western Illinois (Nov. 21) and USC Upstate (Dec. 3), with a game against North Dakota State (Nov. 22) in Macomb, Ill., as part of the Western Illinois MTE. The Chants will play their final home game of 2025 against Alabama A&M on Nov. 30.
The Chanticleers will play 18 Sun Belt Conference games, which include home-and-home series with Appalachian State, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, James Madison, Marshall, and Old Dominion.
Coastal Carolina will play single home games against Texas State (Jan. 22), Southern Miss (Jan. 24), and Arkansas State (Feb. 4), while traveling to South Alabama (Jan. 29), Louisiana-Monroe (Jan. 31), and Louisiana (Feb. 12). It will not face Troy during the regular season.
The Chanticleers open Sun Belt play with back-to-back road games at Appalachian State (Dec. 18) and Old Dominion (Dec. 20).
