BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team shut out the Campbell Fighting Camels 1-0 on Friday evening in Buies Creek, N.C.

With the win, the Chants improve to 2-3-0 on the season.
Coastal snapped a three-match skid and improved to 2-1-0 in road contests.
The Chants have a perfect 2-0-0 record when scoring first.
CCU led the first half 5-2 in shots and 3-2 in corner kicks.
Dolcie O'Connor netted her second goal of the season, scoring an olympico in the 63rd minute of action.
The Chants matched their season high with four shots on goal.
Rami Rapp and Eleanor Ashton paced the team each taking two shots to help the Chants outshoot the Fighting Camels 11-3 at the final whistle.
Goalkeeper Aris Lamanna recorded her second clean sheet of the season.

The Chanticleers will return to Conway to take on East Carolina on Sept. 7 at 4 p.m. ET.
