Coastal Carolina To Debut New Mini Series On Baseball Program

The Road to Omaha will make its debut on Friday, Jan. 23

CONWAY, S.C. — Coastal Carolina's new series, The Road to Omaha, will make its debut Friday, Jan. 23, across Coastal Carolina baseball social media platforms and the Coastal Carolina Athletics YouTube channel. The four-part mini-series will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at what makes Coastal baseball the program it is.

Coming off a thrilling run to the 2025 Men's College World Series Final, Coastal Carolina enters the 2026 season with momentum and one of the most anticipated home schedules in recent program history. The Chanticleers will host 30 home games, giving fans plenty of opportunities to experience high-level college baseball in Conway.

Single-game tickets for the upcoming season are now available for purchase. Please note that the matchup against Clemson on May 5 is excluded from the current single-game ticket inventory. If available, tickets for the Clemson game will go on sale at a later date. Fans are encouraged to secure season tickets to guarantee admission for this matchup.

Coastal Carolina enters the season ranked No. 6 in the D1Baseball Preseason Top 25. The Chanticleers open the 2026 campaign on Friday, Feb. 13, when they host Fairfield at Springs Brooks Stadium, with first pitch scheduled for 4 p.m.

The Chanticleers enter the upcoming season in their second year under head coach Kevin Schnall, who delivered one of the most decorated first seasons by a head coach in program history. Schnall was named the 2025 National Coach of the Year by Baseball America, becoming the first rookie head coach to earn the honor, while also collecting Coach of the Year accolades from the Sun Belt Conference, Perfect Game, and the American Baseball Coaches Association, which recognized him as the Atlantic Region Coach of the Year.
