CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team swept USC Sumter 7-0 on Friday afternoon at the Stevens Tennis Complex.

• With the win, the Chanticleers opened the season at 1-0.
• Head coach Chris Powers secured the 250th win of his career.
• The Chants did not drop a single set in either singles or doubles play.
• Sophomore Curzio Manucci dropped just two games on the day, earning a 6-1 win in the No. 3 doubles spot and a 6-0, 6-1 victory on singles court No. 5.
• Coastal Carolina returns to action on Jan. 27, hosting Francis Marion in Conway at 1 p.m. ET.
