CLEMSON, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina University indoor track & field team will compete in the Bob Pollock Invitational in Clemson, S.C. on Friday and Saturday. This will be their second meet in a row at Clemson after the Orange & Purple Invitational last weekend.
Women's Indoor Notes
- In her first meet with Coastal, Emelia Thurston posted the second-best indoor long jump in school history and finished second overall in the event at 6.08m in the Orange & Purple Invitational.
- Making her collegiate debut last week, Maria Helga Hognadottir scored a 3449 in the pentathlon, the fourth-best in school history.
- Zionna Perez-Tucker and Latiana Acker placed 13th and 14th overall in the 200m at the Orange & Purple Invitational, and Acker set a new personal-record in the 60m at 7.52, the ninth-fastest in school history.
