CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team swept UNCG 7-0 on Friday afternoon in Conway, S.C.

"The guys were extra motivated to play today. We took a tough loss at their place last season and the guys were eager to compete today," stated head coach Chris Powers. "It's tough to get a sweep especially against a good team like UNCG so I think we can build some momentum off this one. Now onto the defending national champions on Sunday!"

With the win, the Chants improve to 6-1 on the season.
Rivers Cahill and Juan Cruz Collardin took a resounding 6-1 win on doubles court number three.
Christopher Norlin and Iannis Fernandes helped secure the doubles point with a 6-3 victory on court two.
On singles courts three and four, Juan Cruz Collardin and Eric Tripathi both dominated winning 6-1, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-2, respectively.
The Chants are set to face No. 3 Wake Forest on Feb. 22 at 5 p.m. ET.
