CONWAY — Coastal Carolina women's basketball fell 73-60 to Old Dominion in their final home game on Saturday at the HTC Center.
GAME RECAP
The Chants came out strong, taking a 17-12 lead after the first quarter. The lead stretched to nine in the second quarter but the Monarchs outscored the Chants 20-12 in the period to take a 32-29 lead into halftime. Coastal kept the third quarter close, as Old Dominion took a 50-49 lead to the final quarter. The Monarchs outscored the Chants 23-11 in the final 10 minutes to wrap up the 73-60 win.
COASTAL LEADERS
In her final game at the HTC Center,
Tracey Hueston collected 16 points to lead the team, while
Kristin Williams added 13 in her final home game as a Chant. As a team, Coastal shot 28-percent from the field and 29-percent from long-range while making 15 of 24 free throw attempts.
