BIRMINGHAM, ALA. – Latiana Acker won the Sun Belt individual championship in the 400-meter and Coastal Carolina indoor track & field finished third overall after the final day of the Sun Belt Championship on Tuesday in Birmingham, Ala.

NOTABLE RESULTS

Latiana Acker - 1st-place finish in 400m, 3rd in school history (54.26)
Emelia Thurston - 2nd-place finish in the long jump (5.95m)
Callie Wilson - 2nd-place finish in pole vault (3.98m)
Maya Studney - 3rd-place finish in triple jump, 3rd in school history (12.44m)

Outdoor track & field season begins with the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge on March 13th.
