ATLANTA, GA. — Coastal Carolina women's basketball took down Georgia State 92-84 in overtime on Tuesday at the GSU Convocation Center.
GAME RECAP
Georgia State led 18-14 after the first quarter before the Chants scored 20 points in the second to take a 34-32 lead into halftime. Both teams held leads in the second half, with Coastal leading by as many as eight in the fourth quarter. The Panthers ended regulation on an 11-3 run to tie the game at 77. The Chants outscored the Panthers 15-7 in overtime to take the 92-84 victory.
COASTAL LEADERS
Kristin Williams led Coastal with 22 points while
Tracey Hueston added 20 points and nine rebounds. As a team, Coastal shot 51-percent from the field and 36-percent from long-range while making 26 of 35 free throw attempts.
