CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team fell 4-3 to App State on Saturday morning at the Stevens Tennis Complex.
- Coastal Carolina dropped a tightly contested Sun Belt Conference match to App State, moving to 12-4 overall on the season despite sweeping the doubles point.
- The Chants opened strong, securing the doubles point with wins on all three courts, highlighted by victories from the duos of Aida Mitrache/Brooke Rogers, Sarah Clark/Diana Zuba, and Brunelle Kouam/Francisca Laundes.
- Coastal carried that momentum into singles play with straight-set wins from Aida Mitrache on court three and Brunelle Kouam on court two to take a 3-0 lead.
- The Mountaineers responded by winning the final four singles matches to complete the comeback and secure the 4-3 victory.
- Coastal will return to action on April 8, hosting College of Charleston in its final home match of the season.
