Horn Named Perfect Game Second Team All-American

CONWAY, S.C. – After establishing himself as one of the nation's top bullpen arms throughout the 2026 season, Coastal Carolina's Darin Horn has been named a Perfect Game Second Team All-American, the organization announced on Wednesday.

Horn's selection comes on the heels of a standout campaign in which he earned First Team All-Sun Belt Conference honors and emerged as one of the most reliable relief pitchers in college baseball.

The redshirt senior made 31 appearances out of the bullpen for the Chanticleers, compiling an 8-2 record with seven saves and a 3.21 ERA. Over 67.1 innings pitched, Horn struck out 93 batters while holding opponents to a .241 batting average.

Horn ranked tied for second in the Sun Belt Conference in saves and was just one of two Division I pitchers in 2026 to record at least eight wins and seven saves. He also finished fifth in the conference in ERA, sixth in strikeouts, ninth in runs allowed, and third in home runs allowed.

One of Horn's most dominant performances came on May 15 at Louisiana, when he tossed 5.0 scoreless innings of relief, allowing just one hit while striking out a season-high nine batters.

Earlier in the season, Horn was named a Perfect Game Third Team Midseason All-American and earned a spot on the NCBWA Midseason Stopper of the Year Watch List. He also collected Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week honors during Week 7 of the season.
