CONWAY, S.C. – Six members of the Coastal Carolina beach volleyball team and a pair of men's golfers have been named to the CSC Academic All-District At-Large Teams, selected by the College Sports Communicators.
Beach volleyball student-athletes
Karis Gordon,
Emma Kunaus,
Frida Meincke Lyø,
Ava Novello,
Anna Rita, and
Madeline Sigmon each received the distinction for the first time in their careers, as did men's golfers
Owen Kim and
Jack Lee.
Lee was selected an Academic All-America® finalist and will advance to the national ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 8, 2026.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District or Academic All-America honors, a student-athlete must have a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and have significant athletic credentials. First-year student-athletes are not eligible for Academic All-District or Academic All-America distinction.
