Multiple Chants Named WGCA All-America Scholars

FRISCO, Texas – The Coastal Carolina University women's golf team had multiple student-athletes named to the 2025-26 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team.
The Chants that received the honor included: freshmen Kate Ryan and Anna Brehm, Sophomore Aoife Devaney and junior Carla Bourdeaux.
The Chanticleers have had a total of 74 student-athletes receive the honor since 2004, and the 2025-26 group joins the 2013 and 2017 seasons with a team-record five student-athletes receiving the academic honor.
The WGCA All-America Scholars had a total of 1,551 women's collegiate golfers recognized for the honor. To be selected for the All-America Scholar Team, golfers must have a minimum GPA of 3.50, be an amateur on the team's roster through the conclusion of the season, and have played in 50 percent of the program's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
