Coastal Carolina Men's Tennis Earns ITA All-Academic Team Honors; Five Named Scholar-Athletes

GILBERT, Ariz. – The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team was recognized for its academic excellence by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), earning the 2026 ITA All-Academic Team award while placing five student-athletes on the ITA Scholar-Athlete list.
Representing the Chanticleers as ITA Scholar-Athletes were Rivers Cahill, Jack Dixon, Enzo Garutti, Christopher Norlin, and Eric Tripathi.
To earn ITA Scholar-Athlete honors, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale during the current academic year and be listed on their institution's eligibility form.
The Chanticleers also earned ITA All-Academic Team recognition by posting a team grade-point average of 3.542
A total of 1,008 NCAA Division I men's tennis student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes in 2026, while 162 programs earned ITA All-Academic Team distinction.
