Volleyball Adds Setter Kaylee Musick

CONWAY, S.C. – Kaylee Musick, a 6-foot-1 setter, joins Coastal Carolina for the 2026 season after spending the previous two seasons at FIU.
A native of Canal Winchester, Ohio, Musick arrives in Conway with two years of eligibility remaining.
"We're thrilled to welcome Kaylee to our program," Coastal head coach Steve Loeswick said. "She brings valuable Division I experience from FIU along with a high volleyball IQ, poise, and the ability to direct an offense. Her experience will help her make an immediate impact while raising the level of those around her.
"She is an outstanding teammate whose competitive drive and work ethic fit perfectly with the culture we're building. We're looking forward to seeing her continue to develop and make a significant contribution as a Chanticleer."
Musick played in 58 sets across 22 matches in her two years at FIU. She collected 414 assists, an average of 7.14 per set. As a freshman, she posted a total of 275 assists, ranking third on the team with 6.71 assists per set. Last season, she improved her average to 8.18 assists per set, distributing 139 helpers in 17 sets played.
She recorded 30 or more assists in six matches, including a career-high 40 in a five-set loss to Arkansas as a freshman.
Musick and the Chanticleers open preseason practice on Thursday, July 30.
