CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina men's basketball has launched The Gray Club, a new membership organization designed to connect business leaders, alumni, supporters and friends of the program through year-round experiences and exclusive access.
Members will be connected with the basketball program, Coastal Carolina University and the Grand Strand community while receiving opportunities to support the continued growth of Coastal Basketball.
"I believe Coastal Carolina has everything it needs to build one of the premier basketball programs in the Sun Belt," head coach Justin Gray said. "We have an incredible university, tremendous student-athletes, a passionate community and people who believe in what Coastal can become. The Gray Club is about bringing those people together and building something special. Championship programs are built on relationships, culture and people who believe in one another, and that's what we want The Gray Club to represent."
Built around three pillars—Community, Access and Impact—the club will give members opportunities to connect with one another, receive behind-the-scenes access to the program and provide additional support for Coastal Basketball and its student-athletes.
The first phase will focus on The Founding 25, a select group of members who commit to the club from the beginning. The group will be permanently recognized for helping establish its foundation.
Another unique component will be the connection between athletics and business. Coach Gray will be available to member businesses and organizations for keynote presentations, leadership discussions and conversations about building winning cultures.
The same principles that help create successful basketball programs—leadership, accountability, discipline, relationships and a commitment to daily excellence—can also help strengthen businesses and organizations.
The inaugural signature experience will take members to Durham, N.C., for Coastal Carolina's 2026 game at Duke. Members will visit Cameron Indoor Stadium, one of college basketball's most iconic venues, while receiving exclusive access to the program.
"The Gray Club is about more than supporting a basketball team," Gray said. "It's about building a community of people who believe in Coastal, believe in each other and want to be part of something that can have a lasting impact. We want this to become a community that people are proud to be a part of for years to come."
The Vision
Building a Championship Program. Building a Community.
Championship programs don't happen by accident. They are built through exceptional leadership, committed student-athletes, passionate supporters and communities that believe in a vision long before the championships arrive.
At its core, the club is designed for business leaders, alumni, supporters, and friends of Coastal Basketball who believe in the program's direction and want to be part of its future.
More than a traditional booster club or donor program, The Gray Club will bring people together, provide access to Coastal Basketball and create opportunities to support the program and the Grand Strand community.
That work will begin with The Founding 25, a select group of leaders who choose to support the club from the beginning. The goal is not to immediately build a club with hundreds of members. It is to bring together the right 25 people who believe in what Coastal Basketball can become and want to help build its foundation.
Years from now, those members will be able to look back and say they believed first.
Membership Benefits
Membership is centered on three pillars: Community, Access and Impact.
