CONWAY, S.C. — The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team shut out the College of Charleston Cougars, 1-0, on Thursday night at the CCU Soccer Complex.

With the win, Coastal improves to 5-2-0 on the year.
Coastal is undefeated at 4-0-0 at the CCU Soccer Complex.
Olivia Goretski put the Chants on the board in the 13th minute when she found the bottom-right corner.
At halftime, Coastal led 6-3 in shots and 6-2 in corner kicks.
The Cougars threatened in the second half when Bella Antonio hit the crossbar in the 58th minute.
Sydney Magliocca looked to add to Coastal's lead, hitting the post in the 68th minute in her Coastal debut.
At the final whistle, Coastal held a 5-1 advantage in shots on goal.
Coastal will head back on the road to take on UNCW on Sept. 13 at 6 p.m.
