CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina football returns to Brooks Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 24, as the Chanticleers host Liberty in a nationally televised matchup. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
Thursday's matchup will be the only FBS game played that night, providing Teal Nation with an opportunity to showcase the energy and atmosphere surrounding Coastal Carolina football to a national audience. Fans are encouraged to wear teal, arrive early and pack Teal Town before ESPN's SportsCenter On Campus broadcasts live at 5 p.m.
The Chant Walk will follow at 5:15 p.m. and will be shown live on ESPN as the Chanticleers make their way into Brooks Stadium. Fans are encouraged to line the route, be loud and give the team a memorable welcome ahead of the primetime matchup.
Coastal Carolina will also honor its historic 2006 football team and Coastal great Melissa Jefferson during Thursday night's game.

GAME-DAY TIMELINE
Teal Nation is encouraged to wear teal and help create a sea of teal inside Brooks Stadium for Thursday night's nationally televised matchup.
With Coastal Carolina and Liberty playing the only FBS game of the night, fans will have an opportunity to showcase Teal Nation and the atmosphere at Brooks Stadium to a national audience on ESPN.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early, wear teal and bring plenty of energy throughout the evening.
SPORTSCENTER LIVE FROM TEAL TOWN
ESPN's SportsCenter On Campus will broadcast live from Teal Town beginning at 5 p.m. with Matt Barrie and Chase Daniel.
Fans are encouraged to arrive before the broadcast begins, surround the set and be loud as Coastal Carolina and Teal Nation are showcased live across the country.
Following the broadcast, fans can remain in Teal Town and line the Chant Walk route to welcome the Chanticleers to Brooks Stadium.
CHANT WALK LIVE ON ESPN
Fans will have an opportunity to welcome the Chanticleers to Brooks Stadium during the Chant Walk at 5:15 p.m.
The Chant Walk will begin near Teal Town before continuing through the premium tailgate area and into Brooks Stadium through Gate 1.
Thursday's Chant Walk will be shown live on ESPN, providing fans with another opportunity to showcase the energy of Teal Nation to a national audience. Fans are encouraged to arrive early, line the route and be loud as the team makes its way into the stadium.
THURSDAY PARKING REMINDERS
Because Thursday's game will take place during a regular school day, fans and members of the campus community should plan ahead for parking restrictions and increased traffic throughout the day.
Parking in Lots QQ and UU, located between Brooks Stadium and Springs Brooks Stadium and adjacent to Arcadia Hall, will be restricted beginning at 6 a.m. Additional parking areas across campus may close as early as 7 a.m.
Vehicles remaining in restricted areas after the posted closure times will be subject to towing at the owner's expense. Fans are encouraged to follow all posted signage, allow additional time when traveling to campus and purchase game-day parking in advance.
PREPAY FOR PARKING AND SAVE
Fans are encouraged to purchase parking in advance to save time and money on game day. Prepaying allows fans to secure their parking before arriving on campus and avoid the added expense and hassle of purchasing parking on site.

TEAL TOWN
Teal Town, located on the southeast side of Brooks Stadium, will be open from 4:30–7 p.m. and serve as the central pregame destination for students, alumni and fans.
In addition to the live broadcast of SportsCenter On Campus, Teal Town will feature:
CCU ALUMNI TEALGATE
The CCU Alumni TEALgate will take place from 4:30–6:30 p.m. in Blanton Park before the Chanticleers take on Liberty at Brooks Stadium.
Alumni and their guests can enjoy light snacks, refreshments and a complimentary CCU-branded teal bucket hat while supplies last. Julio and the Saltines will provide live entertainment throughout the event, and the Chanticleer Regiment will perform at 6:20 p.m.
Several CCU alumni-owned businesses will be on site, including Stella's Homemade Ice Cream and WeGoGolf's golf simulator. The Alumni TEALgate will also feature lawn games, inflatables, face painting and other family-friendly activities.
Alumni and their guests are welcome to bring their own drinks, snacks, coolers and lawn chairs.
HONORING THE 2006 CHANTICLEERS
Coastal Carolina will recognize the 2006 football team during halftime of Thursday night's game.
The 2006 Chanticleers made history by earning the program's first NCAA Division I playoff appearance and helping establish the foundation for Coastal Carolina football's continued growth and success.
Members of the team will be welcomed back to Brooks Stadium and honored on the field during the halftime recognition.
CELEBRATING MELISSA JEFFERSON
Coastal Carolina will also honor Chanticleer great Melissa Jefferson during Thursday night's game.
Fans are encouraged to join Coastal Carolina Athletics in welcoming Jefferson back to Brooks Stadium and celebrating her accomplishments.
FREE CONCESSIONS
The CCU Kickoff Meal Deal returns, providing free hot dogs, nachos, popcorn and fountain drinks to every ticketed fan at designated concession stands.
Fans must present their game ticket through the Coastal Carolina Athletics App when visiting a designated free concession location.
Free concessions will end at the conclusion of the third quarter, which is also when alcohol sales inside Brooks Stadium will end.
Specialty items and food from outside vendors will remain available for purchase.
