James Leads Coastal at Bryan Bros. Collegiate

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. – Harrison James tied for 36th and Drew Sykes shot an even-par 71 in Tuesday's final round as Coastal Carolina finished 14th at the Bryan Bros. Collegiate at Solina Golf Club.
The Chanticleers posted rounds of 294, 290 and 296 to finish the 54-hole tournament at 28-over-par 880. Play resumed Tuesday with the completion of the second round, which was suspended Monday because of darkness.
James finished at 3-over 216 after rounds of 73, 68 and 75. His second-round 68 was Coastal's lowest round of the tournament and included three birdies and an eagle.
Sykes recorded Coastal's lowest score in the final round, making two birdies and two bogeys on the par-71 course. He closed with consecutive rounds of 71 after an opening 75 to tie for 42nd at 4-over 217.
Jack Lee tied for 72nd at 11-over 224 following a final-round 77. Waymon Thomas and Lucas Arntsen each shot 75 Tuesday, with Thomas tying for 77th at 13-over 226 and Arntsen tying for 86th at 18-over 231.
Ole Miss won the team title at 19-under 833, one stroke ahead of Arkansas. Liberty placed third at 17-under 835.
Liberty's Austin Krahn claimed medalist honors at 9-under 204, finishing one stroke ahead of Ole Miss' Collins Trolio and Arkansas' Erich Fortlage.
The Chanticleers will wrap up their fall season, Oct. 12-14, at the Bryson Invitational in Miami.
