Men's Basketball Adds Drew Fuquay To 2026-27 Roster

CONWAY, S.C. – Drew Fuquay has joined the Coastal Carolina men's basketball program, head coach Justin Gray announced Friday. The 6-foot-8 forward comes to Coastal after playing the 2025-26 season at Marshall.
Fuquay appeared in 29 games for the Thundering Herd, averaging 2.7 points and 1.8 rebounds while shooting 59.2 percent from the field. He scored a career-high 15 points at App State, making all six of his field-goal attempts, and added 10 points against Elon.
The Detroit native began his collegiate career at Gillette College in Wyoming. He averaged 15.5 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals while shooting 55.6 percent from the field as a sophomore, helping lead the Pronghorns to the Region IX finals. As a freshman, Fuquay averaged 10.6 points and 6.7 rebounds.
He attended Balboa High School in San Francisco.
