To say that this Kidd is a player may be (strike that) IS an understatement. Emma enters her final semester at Coastal Carolina as the school[apos]s all-time career leader in total victories, singles wins and doubles wins. All of these victories add up to some pretty impressive honors for the young lady from down under.
Emma, who is majoring in Recreation, is the defending three-time Big South Conference Player of the Year and has been selected to the All-Conference Team six times -- three singles honors and three doubles honors. She is also a two-year Co-Captain and three-time team MVP. In 1999, Emma became the first women[apos]s tennis player in Big South history to earn Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors in the same season.
Emma enters the Spring 2002 season with a career singles record of 99-14 and a doubles mark of 76-16. That adds up to a combined 175-30 record for a winning percentage of 85.4 percent. Her record against Big South Conference competition is 22-1 in singles and 16-2 in doubles.
