REQUEST CHAUNCEY
GENERAL INFORMATION
When available, Chauncey makes public appearances for community and/or private parties upon request for Conway and the surrounding areas.
Please note that Chauncey has a primary responsibility to provide support for Coastal Carolina University athletics. Beyond this, Chauncey helps to promote spirit in the community and attend private parties when available. At any time, an appearance may be canceled or postponed due to the immediate need for Chauncey at an athletic or university events.
FEES
Chauncey makes appearances inside Conway and surrounding areas at the following rates.
- Non-Profit (must submit 501(c)3 documentation to confirm non-profit status): $175
- CAF Member: $275
- Coastal Carolina Athletics Sponsor: $275
- General Public Appearances: $450
In addition, all appearances outside of 10 miles from Arcadia Hall (132 Chanticleer Dr W, Conway, SC 29526) will also be asked to reimburse for mileage at a rate of $0.70 per mile (rounded to the nearest dollar). Please note that appearances outside of 90 miles might incur additional travel feels, including, but not limited to, hotel accommodations.
Add $100 for the entire dance team to appear and $50 for up to six (6) dance team members to appear. All fees must be paid in full before the appearance.
HOW TO REQUEST A CHAUNCEY APPEARANCE
Please read the provisions of the appearances below, fill out the request form, and send in to Marla Sage a minimum of four weeks prior to the requested appearance date. The form may be sent via email, or mail. Availability confirmation and response will take one week.

Chauncey Appearance Request Form 
If the mascot is approved for your event you will need to provide:
1. A parking place close to the event or a ride to the event
2. Drinking water available at all times
3. A private place to dress and rest.
4. A secure location for clothes and personal items.
