Had saves in wins over Gardner-Webb (April 3) and Radford (April 11) ... Struck out three in 1.2 innings at Presbyterian (April 24) ... Prior to Coastal Carolina: Played two seasons at Louisburg Junior College ... Was a first team All-Region IX member ... Struck out 40 batters in 31 innings, going 5-1 with a 1.50 ERA in 2008 ... Also was a First Team All-Region IX Tournament selection ... West Henderson HS: Was a two-time All-Western Athletic Conference selection for the Falcons ... Was a Puma All-American as well as a top prospect by both Baseball America and Team One ... Was the Most Valuable Player of the Hawaiian Collegiate Baseball League in 2007 ... Led that league in both ERA and strikeouts.
