• Picked up a solo tackle on special teams in the win over No. 8 BYU (Dec. 5)

2019 (Freshman)

• Played in the season finale versus Texas State (Nov. 30)
• Recorded a special teams tackle in the win over the Bobcats
• Named to the Dean's List for the 2019 fall semester
• Enrolled at Coastal Carolina in January 2019 and participated in spring practice

High School

• A three-star recruit and ranked as the No. 59 overall prospect in the class of 2019 in the state of North Carolina by 247Sports
• Also rated a three-star recruit as an athlete by Rivals and ESPN
• A 2018 NCPreps Pre-Season All-State football team selection prior to his senior season
• A four-year starter for Ledford Senior High School and head coach Chris Adams
• A key part of the senior class that is the winningest group of players in Ledford Senior High School history with 40 wins from 2015-18
• Primarily lined up as a defensive back, but also played running back, wide receiver, and quarterback
• Set the single-season interception record at Ledford with eight interceptions his freshman season
• Recorded 267 total tackles, including 217 solo stops, and 4.0 tackles-for-loss in 50 games played at Ledford
• Also had 15 interceptions, four pass breakups, five fumble recoveries, and five forced fumbles on defense
• Registered 3,993 total all-purpose yards over his high school career – 351 rushing, 2,025 receiving, 665 kick return, 807 punt return, and 145 interception return yards – as well as 30 touchdowns
• A team captain his senior season that led his team to an overall 13-2 record, a perfect 9-0 conference record, and all the way to the semifinals of the 2018 North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) 2AA state championship playoffs
• Recorded 70 total tackles, 4.0 tackles-for-loss, four interceptions, and four pass breakups his senior year on defense
• Totaled 35 catches for 585 yards and five touchdowns and rushed 14 times for 125 yards and a score on offense as a senior
• Also returned 34 punts for 480 yards and had 11 kick returns for 272 yards on the season in 2018
• Led the Panthers to nine-win seasons in 2015, 2016, and 2017
• Posted 46 tackles and two interceptions in nine games his junior season while also totaling 810 yards of total offense with 217 rushing yards and 593 receiving yards
• Had 840 receiving yards on 42 catches and 63 tackles with three interceptions as a sophomore
• Was near the top of the team in tackles with 88 stops as a freshman
• A member of the baseball and track & field teams
• An all-conference performer in track where he ran in the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes and was the anchor leg of the 4x100-meter and 4x200-meter relay teams
• Selected for the Elite Middle School All-Star Game
