- Was the only player on the team to play and start all 31 games
- Was one of the top-scoring true freshmen guards in the country averaging 15.7 points per game
- Reached double-digit scoring in 28 of the 31 games
- Scored a career and team-high 32 points against ULM in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament
- Collected a double-double with a 19-point, 10-rebound effort against Georgia State
- Was third on the team in rebounding averaging 5.1 per game
- Shot 45 percent from the field and a team-best 41 percent on his three-point field goals
- Also shot 67 percent from the free throw line
- His 47 three-point field goals was second on the team
- Scored 20 or more points against James Madison (20), Marshall (22 and 21), Georgia State (23), and Louisiana (22)
- Played all 40 minutes against Louisiana in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament
- In the Sun Belt, he was 2nd in minutes played and fifth in both three-point percentage and field goal percentage
- He was also sixth in the Sun Belt in scoring and 15th in defensive rebounds per game

- One of the top all-time leading scorers in Kentucky high school basketball history
- Finished his high school career with 3,280 points, a Ninth Region record
- Led the state of Kentucky in scoring in both his junior (38.2 ppg) and senior seasons (36.8 ppg)
- He scored 40 or more points 30 times over his high school career
- Was a Mr. Kentucky candidate
- He was an All-State honoree and was selected to play in the prestigious Kentucky-Indiana junior all-star series
