2019 (Freshman): Pitched in four games out of the bullpen … Went 0-0 with a 5.06 ERA … Struck out three and walked five over 5.1 innings of relief work … Pitched 2.0-scoreless innings and struck out three in the 13-0 shutout win over Michigan State (Feb. 22) … Made his Chants debut with 0.2 innings of work in the win at UNC Wilmington (Feb. 19) … Threw 1.1 innings in the 14-8 win over Wake Forest (March 6) and in the loss at Little Rock (April 12).

Mitchell High School … Rated as the No. 35 right-handed pitcher and the No. 114 overall prospect in the class of 2018 out of the state of Florida by Perfect Game … A 2018 Rawlings/Perfect Game honorable mention All-American … Also named to the Florida All-Region second team by Perfect Game … A two-time Rawlings/Perfect Game underclass high honorable mention selection (2016 and 2017) … A four-time first-team All-Conference selection … Went 10-1 with a 2.51 ERA his senior season, as Mitchell was 23-7 overall on the year … Also hit .372 with a home run and 18 stolen bases as a senior … Compiled a 20-4 record for Mitchell over his first three years, including a sterling 7-0 record with a 2.66 ERA in 2017 as a junior … Also hit .329 with 23 RBIs his junior season  ...
