Bats: R Throws: R HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered three years at Conley High School in Grimesland, N.C... Was named to the All-State Team by NCPreps and was an All-Area honoree by the Daily Reflector... Helped the Vikings to a 4A State championship his senior year... Hit .320 with three home runs his junior season... Earned the Best Defensive Player award for American Legion Post 39 in 2004, throwing out 85 percent of runners trying to steal and committing only one error... Helped his American Legion team to the 2005 North Carolina championship, winning the Marcus Crandell Most Valuable Player Award... Played in the North Carolina East-West Games... Born April 22, 1987... Is majoring in resort tourism at Coastal.
