2019 CoSIDA Academic All-District 4 First Team
 

2020 (Redshirt Junior)

• Played in nine games on the season, primarily on special teams
• Also lined up at safety
• Had one solo tackle in the road win at Troy (Dec. 12)
• Earned a spot on the Dean's List (3.5 GPA or higher) for the 2020 fall semester
• Named to the President's List (4.0 GPA) for the 2021 spring term
• Graduated in May 2021 with a bachelor's degree in exercise and sport science

2019 (Redshirt Sophomore)

• Played in 11 games after missing the season opener versus Eastern Michigan (Aug. 31)
• Made six starts in the defensive secondary for the Chants
• Recorded 42 tackles, 26 solo and 16 assisted, which was tied for seventh on the team
• Was second on the team with two interceptions
• Also had one pass breakup, forced a fumble, and recovered a fumble on the year
• Had a season-high nine tackles twice - at Appalachian State (Sept. 28) and at Arkansas State (Nov. 16)
• Also had an interception, forced a fumble, and recovered a fumble in the road contest at Arkansas State
• Also had six total stops at ULM (Nov. 23) and five at UMass (Sept. 21)
• Totaled four tackles versus Louisiana (Nov. 7) and in the season finale versus Texas State (Nov. 30)
• Picked off a pass and returned it 13 yards versus Norfolk State (Sept. 14)
• Named to the Dean's List (3.5 GPA or higher) for the 2020 spring academic term

2018 (Redshirt Freshman)

• Did not play in a game
• Tabbed the Chant Squad Defensive Player of the Week for the week of UAB (Sept. 8) and the Special Teams Player of the Week for Appalachian State (Nov. 3)
• A member of the Dean’s List (3.5 GPA or higher) for both the fall 2018 and spring 2019 semesters
• Received Sun Belt Conference Commissioner's List recognition for posting at least a 3.5 GPA for the 2018-19 academic year

2017 (Freshman)

• Redshirted
• Was the Chant Squad Special Teams MVP for the week leading into the Texas State game
• Earned Dean’s List (3.25 GPA or higher) honors in the fall of 2017 and spring of 2018
• Received Sun Belt Conference Commissioner's List recognition for posting at least a 3.5 GPA for the 2017-18 academic year

High School

• Lettered at Belton-Honea Path High School
• Named first-team All-Region I-AAAA as he led the Bears to a region championship in 2016
• Passed for 1,942 yards and 14 touchdowns while rushing for 871 yards and 17 touchdowns his senior year
• Threw for 2,941 yards and 23 touchdowns while rushing for 1,732 yards and 27 touchdowns over his high school career
• Accumulated 4,673 yards of total offense and was responsible for 50 touchdowns
