• Lettered in three sports at Abbeville High School, including football for head coach Jamie Nickles
• Earned all-state and all-region honors following his senior season
• Named to the All-Lakelands team his senior year
• Helped to lead his high school team to a perfect 11-0 record and a 2020 Class 2A championship title his senior year
• A key leader of the Panthers’ defensive unit that allowed just 4.0 points per game all season
• Totaled 69 tackles and returned a fumble for a touchdown his senior season
• Also a member of the 2017 and 2018 football state championship teams
• Lettered in wrestling where he was a state runner-up in the 195-pound weight class as a junior in 2019-20
