• Saw action in two games, playing in the season opener versus Eastern Michigan (Aug. 31) and the season finale against Texas State (Nov. 30)

• Enrolled at Coastal Carolina in January 2019 and participated in spring practice 

High School

• Four-year letterwinner on the football field playing two seasons at Hough High School for head coach Matt Jenkins after two years at Newton-Conover High School
• Played cornerback, wide receiver, and was the kick returner
• Totaled 91 tackles, including 71 solo stops, and 7.0 tackles-for-loss over 32 games played in his high school career
• Also posted 2.0 sacks from his defensive back position
• As a wideout over his first three years in high school, he caught 45 passes for 809 yards and seven touchdowns
• Averaged 18.0 yards per catch over his career
• Scored eight touchdowns his junior season in 2017 (four receiving, two rushing, one interception return, and one kick return)
• Helped to lead his team to an 11-3 overall and 5-2 conference record his senior season before falling in the quarterfinals of the 2018 North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) 4AA State Playoffs to Vance High School
• Team was ranked as high as No. 11 in the state of North Carolina his senior season
