Adrien Dunn joined the Coastal Carolina University speed, strength and conditioning staff as an assistant director in January 2020.
He will work directly with the football team and under the direction of Chad Scott, the director of football speed, strength and conditioning.
Dunn came to CCU after one year on staff at his alma mater Clemson University where he primarily worked with the quarterbacks, while also working with the wide receivers and defensive backs.
Prior to returning to Clemson, Dunn worked as an offensive assistant for the football program and assisted the strength & conditioning department at Furman University for one season.
He is a former wide receiver for the Clemson football program, playing from 2013-16. He excelled in the weight room as a player, worked his way up, and went on to earn a scholarship. During the last semester of an undergraduate student at Clemson, Dunn worked as a student assistant in the weight room.
During his tenure as a player, the Tigers won a National Championship, two College Football Playoff semifinals games, the Russell Athletic Bowl, the BCS Orange Bowl, and two ACC Championships.
He received a bachelor's degree in parks, recreation, and tourism management, with a minor in Education. He recently completed his master's degree in athletic leadership from Clemson.
Dunn is a native of Clemson, S.C. and a graduate of D.W. Daniel High School.
