Andrew Lowe joined the Coastal Carolina University Athletic Training staff in August 2022 as a Resident Athletic Trainer and was promoted to Assistant Athletic Trainer in June 2023, working primarily with the Football program.
Prior to joining the staff at Coastal, Andrew worked as an Intern Athletic Trainer with the Men’s Basketball program at Nicholls State University.
Andrew received his Master’s Degree in Athletic Training at Grand Valley State University. During one of his clinical rotations, he spent a semester with the Football program at Coastal. During this time, the Football program secured its first bowl win since moving to FBS at the 2021 Cure Bowl. Andrew also worked with the Grand Valley Men’s and Women’s basketball program while in grad school. During his time with the Women’s program, the basketball team advanced to the 2021 Final Four in Birmingham.
A native of Lawrence, Michigan, Lowe graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Grand Valley State University in 2020 and his Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from Grand Valley State University in 2022. He is a certified Athletic Trainer and holds certification in IV Therapy for HC Workers and Level 1 Dry Needling.
In addition, he is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and the South Carolina Athletic Trainers Association.
