Molly Bachand enters her first season at Coastal Carolina University after serving the past three seasons at Western Carolina University as the Director of Basketball Operations with Coach Gray.
As the Director of Men’s Basketball Administration, she will be the primary contact for the program and Coach Gray, while also handling Team Travel and the operating budget. Bachand will also assist with the men’s basketball logistics.
Before working at Western Carolina, Bachand served as the Director of Equipment Services at Wake Forest (2016-20) for both the men’s and women’s basketball programs.
Bachand was the Director of Equipment Services at UAB in Birmingham, Ala. (2013-16), the Assistant Director of Equipment Services at her alma mater Kansas (2010-2012) and the University of Colorado (2007-08). Bachand was a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA).
Originally from Fairway, Kansas, Bachand is a 2007 graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in sport management and was a student manager for the Kansas men’s basketball team during her undergrad tenure.
