- Played in four events on the season as a true freshman
- Carded a season stroke average of 78.17 over 12 rounds of play
- Finished with a career-best 54-hole score of 224 to place 35th overall at the Gary Koch Invitational
- Turned in a low-round 72 twice, at the Kiawah Invitational and the Gary Koch Invitational events
Prior to Coastal Carolina
- Led Spain Park High School to three Alabama Class 6A state team titles
- Placed sixth at the 2010 Alabama state championship
- Ranked as high as 50th in the Polo Junior Golf Rankings
- Ranked as high as 17th nationally in the Class of 2010 by the AJGA Polo Rankings
- A two-time American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) champion, winning the 2009 Southeast Junior Open and the AJGA Junior at Steelwood
- Posted a 54-hole total of 200, including a 62 and 68, for a commanding 10-shot victory over a talent-rich field at the Southeast Junior
- His round of 62 was just one shot off the AJGA record and the second-lowest round in the AJGA's history
- Earned Golfweek National Player of the Week honors and was featured in Sports Illustrated's 'Faces in the Crowd' for his victory at the Southeast Junior event
