- Played in two events on the season, both as an individual
- Turned in a season stroke average of 76.17 over six rounds of play
- Finished in a tie for 15th at the Johnny Palmer/Old North State event, shooting a 75, 75 and 72 for a 222, +6
- Also carded rounds of 76, 76 and 83 for a 54-hole score of 235, +19, at the General Jim Hackler Championship
Prior to Coastal Carolina
- Was ranked 63rd in the country in the 2006 class and ninth overall in the state of Texas by GolfWeek
- Was a third-team All-American on the Future Collegiate World Tour
- Recorded a win at the Bear Creek Tournament
- Was a four-year varsity letterwinner in golf, playing two years at the Pendleton School and two years in the Dallas area
- Finished ninth in the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools Class 3A State Championship his freshman season
- Also earned letters in varsity soccer his freshman and sophomore years
- Also played basketball his freshman year
