Gonzalez Balmaceda played a key role in Coastal’s lineup during the 2024–25 campaign, compiling a 9–8 singles record and a 10–8 doubles mark, while earning Sun Belt Player of the Week honors on March 19. Before arriving in Conway, he spent he spent two seasons at Illinois State and two at the University of Delaware, posting a combined 32–22 record in singles and 25–28 mark in doubles.
