Liam Fraboulet joined the Coastal Carolina men's tennis program as an assistant coach in September 2021.

Fraboulet came to CCU after serving as a graduate assistant coach at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) from 2019-21.

Fraboulet began his coaching career at AUM after a successful playing career at Western New Mexico University (WNM).

In his one season at CCU, the Chanticleers went 10-11 overall and 3-3 in Sun Belt Conference play, the Chants best conference ledger since 2019.

Three Chants picked up All-Sun Belt honors in Bastien Huon (first-team, singles), Steve Mundt (second-team, doubles), and Carlos Berna Ruiz (second-team, doubles). Four different Chanticleers tallied double-digit wins in singles play in Daiki Tanabe (12-8), Huon (11-7), Deigo Giraldo (10-11), and Niccolo Rossi (10-9).

A native of Plouha, France, Fraboulet was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year in 2016 while also earning first-team all-conference honors that season.

After WNM switched affiliations to the Lone Star Conference, Fraboulet earned first-team all-conference honors in both singles and doubles play in 2018. He also received the Most Improved Senior Award in his final year with the Mustangs in 2018.

During his collegiate playing career, he ranked as high as No. 14 in the ITA National Singles rankings in NCAA Division II while also reaching as high as No. 36 in the ITA Doubles rankings.

Fraboulet also excelled academically, making the Dean’s List on four occasions and the President’s List four times as well. He was named to the Lone Star Conference All-Academic first team and was tabbed the Outstanding Student of the Year in marketing at WNM.
