Nathan LaRubbio joined Coastal in January 2024 and currently serves as the Student-Athlete Academic Coordinator for the Men’s Soccer, Men’s Tennis, Softball, Women’s Lacrosse, and Women’s Tennis teams.
A native of Daytona Beach, Florida, Nathan earned his B.S. in Sport Management from the University of Florida in 2021, followed by an M.A. in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida. While at UCF, he began working with student-athletes as a content tutor and learning assistant before becoming the Assistant Academic Advisor for the Men’s Basketball and Baseball teams in 2023.
Outside of work, Nathan enjoys watching NASCAR, visiting Disney World, and exploring the worlds of The Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and Star Wars. In Myrtle Beach, he can often be found trying new restaurants, playing pickleball, or getting in a round of golf.
Nathan is passionate about helping student-athletes excel not only in their academics but also in life. He makes it a priority to attend practices and games, supporting his students as they compete at their highest level.
