- Threw the javelin in five meets during the outdoor season
- Was an NCAA East Preliminaries Round qualifier, turning in a mark of 56.89 meters in the javelin throw
- Placed eighth overall in the javelin throw with a distance of 60.05 meters at the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships
- Took first place with a mark of 66.74 meters in the javelin throw event at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational
- Turned in a runner-up finish in the javelin throw with a toss of 58.65 meters at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge
- Finished 13th overall in the javelin throw at the UF Tom Jones Memorial with a mark of 55.62 meters
