Adrianna Piontek begins her first season on the Coastal Carolina lacrosse coaching staff and she will serve as defensive coordinator, academic liaison, community service and fundraising coordinator and recruiting for the Chanticleers.
This past season, Piontek was a defensive strategist assistant coach at Kennesaw State. She additionally worked as the housing and travel coordinator while assisting with recruiting responsibilities.
Prior to Kennesaw State, Piontek was a graduate assistant coach for first year program Wingate at the Division II level.
The Mason, Ohio, native played collegiately at the University of Cincinnati (2010-13) as a defender. While a Bearcat, she played in 43 games and started 18. She was an IWLCA Honor Roll selection her junior season and served as a team captain as a senior.
A three-time Academic All-Big East selection (2010, 2011 and 2012), Piontek graduated from Cincinnati in the spring of 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in sport administration. While at Wingate, she earned her Masters of Art in sport management.
