Paul Saliba

Paul Saliba joined women’s soccer head coach Jo Chubb’s coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach in July 2024.

Saliba comes to Coastal with 15 years of coaching experience at both the youth and collegiate levels.

He started his coaching journey as the head coach of the Milton Soccer Youth Club (2009-13) where he ran sessions for the U8-U12 teams and identified up-and-coming U6/U7 players to join the club.

Saliba then served as the director and head coach for the Burloak Academy from 2014-21 where her created an elite development program, hired coaches, conducted tryouts, managed registrations, and coached the teams.

From 2021-23, Saliba worked with Force Academy as the female tech lead and head coach and oversaw coach and player evaluations, preparing policies and procedures, coaching, and conducting tryouts.

Most recently, Saliba served as the women’s assistant coach at Mohawk College where he assisted in running training sessions, recruiting players, and analyzing match footage.

Saliba owns a United Soccer Coaches Level VI diploma and over the course of his career he has led teams to four outdoor league titles, five indoor league titles, a provincial championship final, and three league cup championships.

Saliba played at Drexel on a full four-year soccer scholarship and was inducted into Drexel’s Hall of Fame after being a member of the 1998 team that tied the all-time record for most wins in a single season (13).
