Biography
Jessica is a freshman middle blocker from Scottsdale, Arizona. After playing a major role all season for the Lady Chanticleers, Jessica came off of the bench in the Big South Tournament to record 19 kills and nine blocks in three matches. In Coastal Carolina's semifinal victory, she posted eight kills and led the defense with five blocks. She continued her post-season surge in the NCAA Tournament by leading Coastal Carolina with six kills against seventh ranked Brigham Young. Jessica's post-season numbers were simply an extension of a highly productive freshman campaign. In 114 games, she posted 206 kills and ranked third on the squad with 69 total blocks, including 67 block assists that ranks eighth on the Lady Chants all-time single season record list. Potts twice posted a career-high 13 kills and had a carer-high seven blocks in a match against Big South foe Radford University.
