Coastal Carolina University Athletics

Lauren Barker has served as athletic business manager for the department of athletics at Coastal Carolina University since 2011. She served as assistant athletic business manager at the University from 2005-11, was promoted to the assistant athletic director for finance in 2011, and most recently serves as the associate athletic director for finance.

She is responsible for the day-to-day business operations for Chanticleer Athletics, including the review and reconciliation of all financial transactions for all 19 athletic teams as well as the administrative divisions of the department of athletics.

As an undergraduate student, she was an intern in the Coastal Carolina University athletic business office and created merchandise designs for football gameday sales and gained business operations experience with an area law firm.

Barker received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Coastal Carolina University in 2005.

From Conway, S.C., Barker and her husband Brent have two sons.
